David Gray ARCM LTCL Cert Ed. - ConductorDavid Gray was born in Liverpool. He studied the French Horn, conducting, composition and piano at the Royal Northern College of Music after completing a year at the Military School of Music, Kneller Hall. He then completed qualified teacher training at Bretton Hall in Wakefield.
David was appointed to the Brass Department at Wolverhampton Music Service in September 1975 and promoted to Head of the Brass Department in 1991. David has experience conducting and playing with Wind bands, Orchestras and Brass Bands. He has conducted the band since its formation over 25 years ago and retired in July 2016 from teaching with the Music Service after 41 years he still enjoys performing and conducting. David currently plays Eb Bass for Stourport-on-Severn Brass Band. |
