As a Community Band our philosophy is to enjoy making music above all and produce the highest possible standard for our players. Here at Wolverhampton community Brass Band we like to create a friendly, but enjoyable working environment, but players must be committed.
We encourage the development of younger players and many of our past members have pursued careers in the music profession and the armed forces.
Daniel Bryant is studying Music and Trumpet at Leeds College of Music and has recently been accepted into one of the top brass bands in the country namely Yorkshire Imperial Metals. The leader of the band, Cameron Chin-see, aged 17 successfully auditioned for a place at the Birmingham Conservatoire Junior Music Department and will be having Trumpet lessons there starting in September 2017.. Cameron also wants to pursue a career in music. I would like to offer my congratulations to them and feel very proud, especially, to have them playing in the band and also as shining examples to the other youngsters in the band of what can be achieved through dedication and hard work.
Daniel along with Ed Rouse, formerly members of the band for many years, return and play for us at The Ironbridge Brass Band Festival each year.
